Margo Posey is a nationally recognized executive leader in inclusive economic growth, supplier engagement, and strategic partnerships. As President of the DFW Business Council (formerly the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council), she leads one of the most influential business councils in the country connecting corporations, entrepreneurs, and institutions to drive measurable economic impact at scale.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, Margo holds full executive responsibility for the organization’s strategic vision, financial stewardship, operational execution, and stakeholder alignment. Her leadership spans governance, budgeting, talent development, and long-range planning, ensuring the Council remains a high-performing, results-driven organization aligned with regional and national business priorities.

Under Margo’s leadership, the organization has consistently ranked among the top-performing councils nationwide, earning Council of the Year honors and maintaining top-percentile performance year after year. Her influence extends well beyond North Texas. Elected by her peers, Margo served as Chair of the NMSDC Affiliate Presidents, representing affiliate councils on the NMSDC Executive Committee and Board of Directors, where she helped shape national strategy and program delivery.

In addition, Margo successfully secured and continues to lead the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center–Dallas, an initiative focused on procurement access, capital formation, and global market opportunities. Under her leadership, the Dallas MBDA Center has been recognized as an Outstanding National Center six of the past seven years driving job creation, business expansion, and sustained economic impact locally and nationally.
